Chili Lime Tilapia

If you’re looking for a quick dinner idea that’s also heart-healthy, this is a nice & light fish recipe that combines citrus and a little bit of heat for a delicious combination! You can have this Chili Lime Tilapia it on the table within 20 minutes! It doesn’t get easier than that!

Ingredients

  • 1 - 4 oz. Tilapia fillet
  • 1 tsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. finely grated lime peel
  • salt
  • pepper
  • chili powder
  • juice of 1 lime

Instructions

Here Your Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly brush all sides of tilapia with olive oil and place on an aluminum foil lined baking sheet. Sprinkle fish with salt, pepper and chili power (to taste). Sprinkle grated lime peel over tilapia. Squeeze juice of half a lime over tipalia.

  2. Bake the tilapia until it is white all the way through and flakes apart evenly with a fork, about 15 minutes

  3. Transfer fish to a plate and squeeze the remaining lime juice over the tilapia.

  4. Serve with your favorite side dish.
